Born in what is now known as the “rust–belt” area of Cleveland, David Jansheski was a suburban kid lucky enough to attend school in a very good school system, which gave him access to a certain amount of cultural experiences: music, art, theater etc. Jansheski sites his exposure to various mediums, painting, enameling, clay, graphic design, and print making, combined with his mid-western heritage and blue-collar “work ethic" as a driving force in his creative process.
