Clint Imboden is intuitively drawn to old materials as they foster purposeful imperfections in his artworks; an attribute that is connected to the previous life of the object. With battered globes and dilapidated tools, the artist creates tactile assemblage sculptures. Imboden’s varied selection of materials is meant to challenge his audience, provoking them to explore the intent of his chosen mixed media.
