Artist submission guidelines
Andrea Schwartz Gallery represents emerging and established artists working in various mediums with a focus on painting and mixed media two-dimensional work. Although we are not actively seeking new artists, we do review artist submissions via the mail.
We ask that you mail slides or printed photos that are an accurate representation of your work along with a resume, artist statement, and a retail price list. If you elect to send a CD, please include several prints of the work to give an idea of the imagery on the disc. Unaccompanied CDs will not be reviewed. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope to ensure the return of your materials. We will only review artist websites after we have reviewed their submission.
We review submissions approximately every 3 months. We ask that you please do not telephone or email the gallery regarding your portfolio. After we have had the opportunity to review your slides, we will either return your materials or contact you for more information. Due to the large number of submissions we receive, please understand that it is not possible for the gallery to critique work on an individual basis.
